Pond, Harry Searing was born on January 22, 1939 in New Orleans. Son of Harry Searing and Elizabeth (Lewis) Pond.

Intern, Philadelphia General Hospital, 1963-1964. Resident in urology Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, 1967-1971. Staff physician Ochsner Clinic, New Orleans, 1971-1973.

Practice medicine, specializing in urology, Mobile (Alabama) Urology Group, since 1973. Associate professor United States Alabama, Mobile, since 1973. President medical staff Providence Hospital, 1982-1983.

Trustee, St. Paul's School, Mobile, 1976-1983. Warden of vestry St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1978-1979.Served with United States Public Health Service, 1964-1966.
