Education

Harvey S. Berenson received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Yale University in 1964. It was followed by a Bachelor of Laws, cum laude, from Harvard University three years later. In 1976, Berenson obtained a Master of Laws degree from New York University.

Career

He worked in that international law firm for six years.

In 1979, Harvey S. Berenson became a professor at Seton Hall University. From 1979 to 1982, he worked a general counsel of Stone-East Associations, New York City. A year after he left the post, Berenson became a president of Berenson & Company where he served till 1988. From that same year till 1995, he was an associate at Berlack Israels & Lieberman LLP. He has been a partner in the company since 1996.

Harvey S. Berenson has been a director at the Bede School (currently the part of the Dwight-Englewood School), Englewood, New Jersey.
