Rumpel, Helen Barbara was born on March 31, 1937 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States. Daughter of Paul Hophni Johnson and Olive Deane (Morris) Rumpel.


Associate of Arts, Stephens College, 1957. Bachelor of Science in Art Education, University Wisconsin, 1959.


Art teacher Santa Fe Public Schools, 1959—1961. Free-lance in contemporary embroidery, painting and clay Santa Fe, since 1960. Color consultant Register & Associates Architects, Inc., since 1977.
