Hiroshi Kihara received the Doctor of Engineering degree (1947).
Career
Hiroshi Kihara traveled to Europe and America (1951) to attend the first convention of the International Metal Engineering Association and again in 1955 to attend the Kokusai Hihakai Kensa Kaigi (International Unbreakability Testing Convention). He was a Chairman of the Japan Welding Engineering Association, Chairman of the Unbreakability Testing Association. Concurrently engineer of Ministry of Transportation.
