Graduated from the Aesthetics and Arts History Section of the Literature Department of Tokyo University (1922).
Ina Nobuo served as instructor of Nihon University, the Tokyo Higher Normal School, and Seishin Women’s College and taught on history of fine arts. Appointed consultant to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1935) and worked for the Information Bureau (until 1943), chiefly assigned to the field of motion picture. After the war, specialized in comment of photograph, writing various articles commenting on photographers and pictures and also introducing foreign photographers.
