Career

Ordained to Methodist ministry, 1904. Pastor several churches including Linwood Boulevard Church, Kansas City Missouri, 1932-1936, First Church, Oklahoma City, 1936-1939, Fourth Avenue Methodist Church, from 1939. Elected to General Conference, 1928, 32, 36, and to Methodist Uniting Conference, 1939.

Elected to General Conference and to S.E. Jurisdictional Conference, 1948. Militant preacher for civic righteousness. Radio preacher; evangelistic pastor.
