Irina Nikolaevna Antufieeva

Background

Irina was born on the 20th of June, in 1925, in Voronezh, Russian Federation.

Education

In 1941, she was evacuated to Kuibyshev, where she graduated from secondary school, the faculty of the Russian language and literature of the State Pedagogical Institute (1948) and postgraduate studies (1951).

Career

Since 1952, she worked at the Smolensk State Pedagogical Institute (University), studied Russian literature of the XIX century, and dealt with problems of literary local lore.
