Graduated from the Moscow Choreographic School, 1936. Pupil of E. Gerdt.
Career
Leading dancer with the Bolshoi Theatre. State Prize, 1947. During World War II, entertained at the Baltic front. Concert soloist until 1962.
In the 1960s, taught at the Moscow Choreographic School. Taught at the Theatre de la Monnaie, Belgium, 1961. From 1970, with Moskontsert (Moscow Concert).
Also appeared with foreign ballet groups.
