In 1922, Isao Ueda graduated from Mine Engineering Department of Meiji Semmon Gakko at Meiji College of Technology.
Career
Isao Ueda started his career from serving as chief of Agochi Mining Station of Chosen (Korea) Coal Industry Company. Soon he was appointed a director of Chosen Artificial Petroleum Company, later a director of Nitchitsu Kogyo Kaihatsu Kaisha (Nitchitsu Mining Development Company).
He also was a member of the Control Committee of Emukai Mining Station and became president of Nitchitsu Mining Development Company in 1950.
