Isematsu Tsukahara was born on the 16th of June, 1882, in Saitama Perfecture, Japan.
In 1909, graduated from the Tokyo University.
In 1913, Tsukahara was appointed director and the chief gynecologist to the Japan Red Cross Hospital at Toyama. Then, in 1925, he became the appointed professor at Nihon University. He was technical official at the Prime Minister's Office and Court physician to the Imperial Household. Also was the director of the Imperial Household Hospital. Author of "New Obstetrics."
