Adopted child of Takeyoshi Ishikawa.
Ishikawa Kazuo graduated from Medical Department of Kyushu University (1931). He studied in Germany for two years (1935).
Ishikawa Kazuo taught first as instructor and then as assistant professor at Medical Department of Kyushu University and after the war assumed present post (1946). Noted for his researches on X-Ray and wrote "The Effect of The Atomic Bomb." He was appointed chief librarian of Ochanomizu Library (1947).
