Career
Since 1960, he is assistant Professor, Professor, head of the Department of solid state physics (1982-1994), Vice-rector (1977-1982) of the Voronezh Polytechnic Institute (Voronezh state technical University).
Sphere of scientific activity: physical and chemical bases of creation, structure and physical properties of new materials (amorphous metal alloys, nanocrystalline solids, fullerenes, carbon nanotubes, metal fullerite and ferroelectric fractal structures). The Creator of a number of new scientific directions in Voronezh state technical University: physics of thin films, amorphous materials and others.
Author of more than 250 works, including the book "Novye napravleniya fizicheskogo materialovedeniya" (Voronezh, 2000; together with Yu. E. Kalinin, O. V. Stogney).
