Studied two years (from 1909) in Germany and England and received degree of Doctor of Engineering (1919).
Career
Iwao Oki became professor at Meiji Technical College (1911) and was appointed professor at Science Department of Waseda University (1920). For many years has played leading role in field of hydraulics, doing many pieces of original work and laying foundation for researches on that subject. Works include "Hydraulics", "Pumps and Hydraulic Presses" and "'Hydraulic Machinery."
