Career
Howick is known for his roles in various British comedy series. Howick is probably best known as one of the stars of CBBC"s Horrible Histories, in which he performs and sings in character as a number of historical figures, including George IV, Richard III and the "Shouty Manitoba" (a parody of an infomercial huckster). He will co-star with the same troupe in Bill, a British Broadcasting Corporation-produced comedy film based loosely around the early life of William Shakespeare.
Filming began in February 2014 and the film is due for release early in 2015.
Other prominent television roles include Gerard in Peep Show, Gerry in Danny Boyle"s Babylon and Anthony in the revival of Reggie Perrin. In addition he has been a regular guest star in various sketch comedies, including The Armstrong and Miller Show and The Kevin Bishop Show
In film, Howick played Corporal
Matlin in the Guillermo del Toro adaptation of Hellboy. He was also featured as the Faun in a recent O2 marketing campaign.
