In 1993 Jinho received a degree of Bachelor of Science from Ajou University, Suwon. In 1996 Jinho Bae received a degree of Master of Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejon, Republic of Korea and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in 2001.
From 1993-2002 Jinho Bae worked as a Technical staff at Daeyang Electric Company, Busan. Since 2002 he is a Professor at Cheju National University, Jeju, Republic of Korea. Jinho Bae worked as a visiting professor at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Daejon, 2002 and at Texas Agricultural and Mechanical, 2006-2007. He is the contributor of articles to professional journals.
Jinho is a member of Optical Society of America, Optical Korea Society and The Optical Society.
Jinho is married to Jeongyeon Kim on the 18th of January, 2003 and has 2 children.
