Career

Moore. Commissioned Second lieutenant, United States Army, June 12, 1914, and advanced through the grades to major general, (temporary) August 4, 1942. Served as captain, 6th Field Artillery, 1st Division, American Expeditionary Force, July 1917-June 1918. War Department General Staff, 1928-1932, representative War Department at International Conference for revision of prisoner of war code and Red Cross Convention at Geneva, 1929.
