John C. Linehan

Came to the United States October 1849. Self-educated.

Career

Served in 3d New Hampshire (U.S.) infantry in Civil war. In mercantile business, 1866-1890. Member governor’s council, 1887-1888.

Has held various positions, local, State and National, in the Grand Army of Republic.

In Concord city government, 1872-1873, 1877-1878. Insurance commissioner of New Hampshire (U.S.), from September 28, 1890.
