Joseph Francis Cunningham was an American lawyer, specializing in the field of Insurance Defense Law, Civil Litigation.
Education
In 1957, Cunningham received a Bachelor of Specialized Studies from John Carroll University. In 1960, he received a Juris Doctor from Columbia University. In 1965, he received a Master of Arts from thr University of Rochester.
Career
From 1960-1962, Cunningham was a president and general counsel at Republic Company in Rochester. He also worked as an attorney and examiner at Interstate Commerce Commission in Washington, in 1964. Cunningham was an associate at Gall, Lane & Powell, in Washington, in 1965, and a labor relations counsel at the United States Chamber of Commerce in Washington, from 1965 to 1966.
He also held the posiyion of the attorney director at E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company in Wilmington and in Delaware from 1966 to 1969.
Cunningham was also a vice president at National Alliance Businessmen in Washington from 1969 to 1970, and had had a private practice law at Washington, since 1970. He also was an adjunct Professor at Law Center Georgetown University in Washington, in 1987, and a lecturer of federal manpower at the United States Information Agency, Washington. Cunningham was a liaison representative at International Labor Organization, United States Labor Department, Wshington, in 1966, and the United States delegate fo the Organization of European Cooperation and Development, Versailles, France in 1967.
