Mancuso earned a Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering from of Worcester Polytechnic Institute (Work Personality Index) in 1963. He then earned an Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1965, and a Doctor of Philosophy Doctorate from Boston University in al Administration in 1975.
The first United States. business incubator opened in 1959, when Joseph Mancuso started the Batavia Industrial Center in Batavia, New New York Since that time, business incubation programs have emerged as successful economic development tools throughout the country and around the world. Mancuso founded The Chief Executive Officer"s Clubs in 1977, and left his professorship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts to run full-time in 1978.
