Education
Jun Tozaka graduated from Kyoto University in philosophy and showed interest in the philosophy of Dr. Nishida but later turned radical.
Career
By 1930 had come to be known as a student of Marxism and a critic of social conditions then prevailing in the country. Jun Tozaka joined many leftist societies and associations and even after they had collapsed he still kept to his own views, till he was considered too dangerous and was imprisoned. He died in jail.
