Karina Ramos

Background

Born in the capital of Heredia province, daughter of Juan Ramos and Sandra Leitón, Ramos moved in 2008 to the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose.

Career

In 2012 she began studying Public Relations in the Latin University of Costa Rica. Karina said that, although her beginnings were in radio and television, her true passion in addition to public relations is beauty pageants. She has been a finalist in various beauty pageants including Mission International Supranational, International Livestock Queen, International Peace Queen, and Mission Tourism Latino.

Mission Supranational 2012

Karina represented Costa Rica at the third session of Mission Supranational 2012 in Plock, Poland.

She placed in the Top 20. Mission Belleza Americana 2013

Karina represented Costa Rica at the Mission Belleza Americana 2013.

Reina Internacional de la Paz 2013

Reina Internacional de la Ganaderia 2013

Karina represented Costa Rica at the Reina Internacional de la Ganadería 2013, where she was the 1st runner-up and was awarded the Reina de los periodistas. Mission Turismo Latino 2013

Karina represented Costa Rica at the Mission Turismo Latino 2013, where she was the 3rd Runner-up and was awarded as Mission Culture.

Mission Costa Rica 2014

Karina was one of the 60 pre-delegates in the competition, and the representative of San José Province.

Achievements

• She was the 3rd runner-up and won the Best Body award. Karina represented Costa Rica at the Reina Internacional de la Paz 2013 and won the title. She placed first in individual skills and won the title of Mission Costa Rica and represented Costa Rica in Mission Universe 2014.
