Katsutaro Nishimura served as manager of Tokyo Branch of Nomura Bank, managing director of the same bank and senior managing director of Nomura Life Insurance Company. Later became director of Shirokiya Department Store (1939), president of Nichibei (Japan-America) M.S.G. Company and served also as director of Koa Sekiyu Kaisha (Petroleum Company) (1950-1953).
