麻生 慶次郎

He graduated from the Imperial University of Tokyo where he mainly studied agronomy and agrochemistry. He then went to study in France, the United States and Germany at the University of Berlin. He studied chemistry from the winter of 1910 to the summer of 1911.
On his return from Europe, he became a pioneer of agronomy in Japan, a professor at the University of Tokyo and a member of the Soil Association's General Affairs Committee. He is the author of books on agronomy and other agricultural subjects, especially pedology (soil survey). He was friends with Kan'ichi Asakawa.
He was a member of the Soil Association's General Affairs Committee.
