He graduated from Mining I & Metallurgy Department of Kyoto University (1927).
Career
Kenkichi Toshima entered Kobe Steel Works (1932) and became chief of its iron manufacturing department (1946), director (1949), chief of operation department (1950), chief of planning department and superintendent of Nagato Plant and thereafter became managing director of Kobe Steel Works, Ltd. (since 1955) and chief of machinery business department and engineering department of the same company.
