Kinkata Koremune earned the degree Meiho Hakcase (doctor of law) (about 923) and was appointed Daihanji (great judge) (about 938). He was made Kebiishi (old name for policeman) (about 948). During his days the country was in a very poor condition and he had several encounters with people over the laws of the country, but he managed to restore the state to some form of prosperity.Most of the laws in force at that time were established by him.
