Kinshiro Tsuchiko was born in 1864 in Edo (now Tokyo), Japan.
Kinshiro Tsuchiko graduated from Tokyo University in 1884.
Kinshiro Tsuchiko served with the Ministry of Finance and then became professor at Tokyo Higher Commercial School. Later went to America to study practical banking methods in 1889 and upon return joined the Bank of Japan in 1891 and was soon posted director of the Yokohama Specie Bank’s London Branch.
Returning he founded and became vice-president of Yokohama Fire and Marine Transport Insurance Company in 1897. Meantime together with Enryo Inoue he managed the Tetsugakushoin (publishers of philosophical books).
