He graduated from Tokyo University (1923).
Career
Kiyo-o Tomeoka was a professor of Hosei University and director of Japan Publication Association-Professor of Hokkaido University. When the Iwanami Publishing Company published a magazine Kyoiku (Education) (1933) he helped the chief editor Mantaro Kido and made effort in scientific study of education and popularization of education. Also assisted in editing the five volumes of 'The Pedagogy Dictionary" of the Iwanami Publishing Company. The Katei Gakko (Home School) at Hokkaido in which he had long been connected was established by his. father Kosuke Tomeoka. Author of "Living Education."
