Konstantin Iraklievich worked as a methodologist in the House of amateur art, led amateur choirs, conducted choral Olympiads. From 1939 he was the Chairman of the Board of the Voronezh Branch of the Union of Composers.
During the Great Patriotic War Konstantin Iraklievich was a bandmaster in a brass band, later he was commissioned by a contusion. He was one of the organizers (1942) of the Voronezh State Academic Russian Folk Choir and its artistic director (until 1964). He was the founder and artistic director of the ensemble "Voronezh girls" in 1966-1970. Konstantin Iraklievich was also a collector of folk songs of the Voronezh region (over 500).
