From 1952 to 1956, Galina studied at Voronezh Pedagogical College. Later, she graduated from the philological faculty of Voronezh State Pedagogical Institute in 1965.
Worked as a broadcaster from 1958 to 1988, and also was a senior editor on Voronezh regional television since 1979. From 1988 to 1993, she was head of the arts department of the regional culture office. During the next four years after that, he served as head of the literature and drama department of the Konstantin Massalitinov Voronezh State Academic Russian Folk Choir. In 1997, Galina becamse a Voronezh Oblast administration representative at the federal government, her tenure lasted one year.
She was regarded as a very energetic, creative and empathetic person by her colleagues, albeit very strict and demanding at work. Many locals consider her a true legend of the regional television.
