Famous Belarusian scientist, economist, analyst and public figure. PhD, associate professor. Author of numerous analytical articles and commentaries on various macroeconomic problems of Belarus and other countries. He has one of the highest indices of citation in the non-state media, including the Internet, among Belarusian economists who give comments on various topical issues of socio-economic development.
Education
At the end of the Moscow State University (1968) was sent to work in the Institute of the State Planning Committee of the BSSR. Then he worked as manager department at the research institute Belorussian State Construction Committee, was admitted to the correspondence postgraduate study (NIIES, Moscow) and Ph.D. degree (1976, construction economics).
Career
Leonid Zlotnikau was the founder and chairman of the Republican Public Association "Alternative-XXI", vice-president of the Association to promote economic development.
Since 1990 (with the founding of the newspaper) is a freelance columnist analytical weekly "Belarusians and the market."
Participated in the development of alternative programs and models of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus.
Presented papers at conferences and seminars in the U.S., Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Ukraine, Russia.
