Lev Efremovich Kroychik was born on May 26, 1934 in Yaroslavl', Russian Federation.
In 1959, Lev Efremovich graduated from the philological department of the Faculty of History and Philology of the Voronezh State University.
Lev Efremovich was an employee of the newspaper "Flame" (Shebekino, Belgorod region, 1959-1962). Since 1962, he was an executive editor of the newspaper "Voronezh University". Also he was an Art Director of the Theater of Miniatures of the Voronezh State University (1962-1976).
Since 1963, Lev Efremovich was a teacher, a head teacher, and an assistant professor of the Department of Soviet Literature, Department of Journalism of the Voronezh State University. Then he was a Dean of the Faculty of Journalism of the Voronezh State University (1989-1994). Since 1989, he was a Head of the Department of Journalism History of the Voronezh State University. Moreover, he was a culture editor of the newspaper "Voronezh Courier" (1993-2000).
Lev Efremovich is the author of over 1,400 scientific and journalistic works, including more than 15 books published in Voronezh.
Prizewinner of the theater competition "Event of the Season" (Voronezh, 1996, 2000), diploma winner of the competition of the newspaper "Culture" (Moscow, 1997), prizewinner of the reward "Golden Fund of Voronezh region" (2004).
