From the age of 7 he studied piano at the Moscow Central music school. In the Gnessin State Musical College studied singing with G.G. Aden.
Lev Leontievich Kuznetsov was a soloist of all-Union radio (since 1969), Moscow Philharmonic (since 1972). In 1976 he joined the troupe of the Moscow Bolshoi theatre.
