Linda Sunshine received her Bachelor of Arts from Ithaca College in 1970. She then attended New York University from 1971 to 1973.
Linda Sunshine worked in publishing for many years. She worked as an executive editor of Harmony Books at Crown Publishers in New York City from 1970 to 1978. She then became an editor in chief of Fireside Books at Simon & Schuster, New York City during 1978-1980. From 1980 to 1993 she was a freelance editor and writer.
Most recently Sunshine worked as editorial director at Stewart, Tabori & Chang in New York City.
Besides, she is the author of more than 50 books, including the New York Times bestseller, Plain Jane Works Out. She has also published many books about the making of such movies as Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, Angels & Demons, Monsters vs. Aliens, Memoirs of a Geisha, Ray, Vanity Fair, and Sideways.
Currently, she lives in Los Angeles, a block from Paramount Studio.
