Kereszi grew up in Pennsylvania where her father owned a junk yard and her mom owned and ran an antique store.

Kereszi earned her Bachelor from Bard College working with Stephen Shore and others She earned her Master of Fine Arts from Yale University.
After graduating from Bard, she began working as an assistant to Nan Goldin. She has been associated with the university since as a staff member or faculty. Her work is color photography and deals with both fantasy and the idea of home.
In the realm of fantasy or "places around the cultural fringe", projects have included Haunted Houses both operating and during daylight hours, burlesque dancers, and strip clubs.
This projects has been featured on Cable News Network and culminated with a book published in 2012 about which the New York Times remarked the junkyard was "a perfect place for an artist to be born." Her work is collected by numerous museums and collections including the Whitney Museum of American Art, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, Yale University Art Gallery, the Brooklyn Museum of Art and is considered a solid investment for the future of photo collecting. She is represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery in New New York
She has done many commissions for organizations including Yale University, New York Times T Style Magazine, Orion, and more. Commercial clients include Nike, International Business Machines Corporation, Capitol Records, and more.
