Education

Robert Muffoletto received a Bachelor of Science in Education from State University of New York (SUNY), Buffalo (1969), and a Master of Fine Arts from Visual Studies Workshop, SUNY, Buffalo (1973).

Career

In 1980s Robert Muffoletto was the publisher and editor of Camera Lucida, the Journal of Photographic Criticism. He has been a photography lecturer at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, since 1978. Robert Muffoletto founded and directed the Center for Exploratory and Perceptual Arts, Buffalo, from 1974 to 1977. He also does his own work that involves video as well as silver prints and color type C prints.

A member of the Society for Photographic Education. He was a founder and board member of Perihelion Photographic Gallery, Milwaukee (since 1977), and has been on the board of directors of the Milwaukee Arts Alliance since 1977.
