Ludwig Yuryevich played in tragedies, melodramas, comic operas, including Ukrainian ones. He began an entrepreneurial activity in the 1833-1834 season. The Kharkov Theater, rented by Mlotkovsky in 1836, was the best in the province. From September 1839 to March 1840, part of the Kharkov troupe of Ludwig Yuryevich played in Voronezh. The success of the plays was so great that the actors refused to return to Kharkov. P.P. Mikulsky chaired the emerged so-called new Voronezh non-repertory theatre.
