Lynn began her career as a High school teacher in Honolulu. From 1973 to 1986 she was a college professor of educational media, Honolulu. Lynn also was assistant director of continuing education in Greenfield Community College. She wrote two sagas about Hawuai.
She is running an eighty-five-horse ranch on a hundred-fifty-seven acres of highland paradise between two old volcanoes, four miles from the Pacific Ocean.
Lynn is a member of Sierra Club, Friends of the Earth, Waikoloa Canoe Club and Wawa Outdoor Circle.
Lynn likes swimming, kayaking, American paint horses, archeology, astronomy, volcanoes and standup comedy.
Lynn married Per S. Nakkim but the marriage ended. They have a son Eric Charles. Their son Peer Alexander deceased.
