Lyudmila Ivanovna was born on December 16, 1955 in the city of Voronezh.
Lyudmila Ivanovna graduated from Voronezh Choreographic School (1974, teacher S.A. Dorofeeva), the Pedagogical Department of the Ballet Master's School of Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (1987, E.N. Zhemchuzhina’s course).
After graduating from Voronezh Choreographic School, Lyudmila Ivanovna danced at Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theater (until 1994). Main roles: Fairy of Tenderness, Fairy of Frolic, Princess Florina, Columbine ("Sleeping beauty", "The Nutcracker" of Pyotr Tchaikovsky), Budur ("One Thousand and One Nights" of Fikret Amirov), Effi ("Sylph" of Herman Levenshold), Shutikha ("Jester" of Sergei Prokofiev), Comedian ("Maybe" of Alexey Rybnikov) and others.
Lyudmila Ivanovna performed and taught abroad (Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, China). Teacher (since 1982), artistic director (since 2002) of Voronezh Choreographic School, where she provides dance performances. Chief choreographer of Voronezh Opera and Ballet Theatre (since 2006).
Lyudmila Ivanovna is a person devoted to ballet art. She trained a lot of modern ballet artists.
Lyudmila Ivanovna is married to Vladimir Ivanovich Sychev.
