In 1908-1917, a laboratory assistant at women's polytechnic courses. In 1917-1920, senior assistant at the Department of Physics of Tomsk State University. In 1920-1924, Professor of the Department of Physics of Tashkent State University. In 1924-1934, a researcher of the 1st category of the Leningrad Physical-Technical X-ray Institute, at the same time a professor at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute (now Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University). In 1934-1935, a researcher at the Leningrad State Optical Institute (now Vavilov State Optical Institute). Since 1935, Professor of Voronezh State University, Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics, since 1936 - the Department of Electromagnetic Oscillations, since 1961 - Department of Solid State Physics (RUNS).
