Early work was concentrated on the renaissance of the post-Stalin economic thought in the Soviet Union: investment theory and price theory. Along with the growing differentiation between the Soviet and Eastern European forms of economic management, I have attempted to develop a synthetic approach to the socialist economies of Eastern Europe. Recently my work has been devoted to the international relations of the Eastern European countries (East-East, East-West and East-South).
