Castillo, Mario Enrique was born on September 19, 1945 in Rio Bravo, Mexico. Son of Manuel Castillo and Maria Enriquez de Allen. Mario"s mother, Maria Enriquez De Allen, is a Nationally known folk artist.
She has been recognized with an award and show in New York by the Women"s National Caucus.
His step-father, Mr. Allen was the Chair of the Photography Department at the Art Institute of Chicago. He is internationally known for his Egyptomania Architectural Photographs.
