Career

Before Martin Davidson became director, he served as an actor in Office Broadway shows and regional theater. It lasted for approximately 5 years.

The first directorial work, The Lords of Flatbush, was released in 1974 starring Sylvester Stallone and Henry Winkler. When Davidson finished active work in 2002, he had directed seven movies and thirteen television series.

Achievements

• Davidson's directorial debut, which represented a New York independent low budget film, was praised by Quentin Tarantino.
  
  In 1987 Davidson received the CableACE Award as best director.
