Mary Hammond has been an assistant professor of art at Valdosta State College, Valdosta, Georgia, since 1979 (and also 1976-1977). She was administrative associate to the Department Chairman, Art Education, at Ohio State University in 1977- 1979 and a photography instructor at the University of Georgia in 1975-1976. In 1973-1974 Mary Hammond was a photography consultant at the National Italian Television Studios in Rome, and in 1969-1971 was art supervisor for Madison County Schools, Georgia.
