Career
Obtained a doctorate for his research on the effect of hard Roentgen rays on the ovary of rabbits (1921). He was professor at Kyushu University (1926) and then at his alma mater for 10 years (1936-1946). Among his works are "Shiraki's Obstetrics" and "Shiraki's Gynaecology".
