Sold out wholesale business to Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company, 1926. Established electric light plant, 1912, in South Dakota which increased to system now supplying over 250 towns, operating through Central Electric & Gas Company (nome now Central Power & Gas Company), president, now Chairman of the Board.
President McGraw-Edison Company until 1960, chairman of the executive committee, since 1960.
