Dikunov Maxim Ivanovich was born on March 05, 1973 in Voronezh. He is the son of sculptors Ivan Pavlovich Dikunov and Elza Nikolaevna Pak. His brother Dikunov Alexey Ivanovich is a sculptor as well. Also he has a sister Natalia, who is a portraitist.
Education
In 1992 Maxim graduated from the Voronezh Art College, in 1998 he ended the Surikov Moscow Art Institute.
Career
Since 1996 Maxim is a member of regional, all-Russian exhibitions. He works in easel and monumental sculpture. The main works: "Thinker" (2000, silver medal of the All-Russian Exhibition of Young Artists), "Daughter’s Dream" (2000), "Ivan Poddubny" (2001), Kitten from Lizyukov Street (2003, Voronezh, together with his brother), the memorial board dedicated to V.A. Volkhovsky (2004, Voronezh), the monument to D.V. Venevitinov (Novozhivotnoe village, Ramon District, Voronezh Region, 2005), V.S. Vysotsky (Voronezh, 2009).
