Educated N. Granville (New York) Seminary and under private tutors. Has lectured extensively before women’s clubs, etc. Formerly writer of editorials and book reviews.

Career

Was member 1st board of General Federation Women’s Clubs, and a signer of articles of incorporation, at Chicago, 1892. 1st Iowa State correspondent for the Federation. Member D.A.R. (ex-regent Dubuque Chapter), Colonial Dames of America (ex-chairman Borough Northern 1, Iowa Society), United States Daughters of 1812.
