In 1978 - 2000, he was an actor of the Lipetsk Drama Theater named after L.N. Tolstoy. In 2000 - 2001, Mikhail Yanko was an actor of the Moscow Art Theater of M.Gorky. Since 2002 he was in the Lipetsk Municipal Theater. Mikhail Yanko taught in Lipetsk schools.
