Lyudmila Aleksandrovna graduated from the Voronezh branch of the Leningrad State University of Theatre, music and cinematography named after N.K. Cherkasov (now Russian State Institute of Performing Arts) in 1968.
Lyudmila Aleksandrovna made her debut on the stage of the Voronezh drama theater as Nisa ("The Lady-Fool" Lope de Vega, 1965). In 1970-e years acted in the roles of contemporaries: Masha ("the Happiest" Eduard Volodarsky), Clara ("the Case of Bobrow" Valentin Chernykh), Masha ("Cruel Games" Alexei Arbuzov), Osanina and Komelkova ("The Dawns Here Are Quiet" Boris Vasiliev).
