(From birth to death, as we grow and mature, in our homes ...)
From birth to death, as we grow and mature, in our homes and our society, we are being fed ideas, concepts about ourselves, about the world, about relationships, about our society. These ideas are often presented as great 'truths' and we hold them as such and integrate them as such into our psyche and into our lives and proceed to use them in our relationships and in our living. Unfortunately, many of these 'truths' are lies or myths and, because they skew us as individuals and as a society in a most unhealthy and unhappy fashion. This book is an attempt to present these ideas as the lies that they are, to expose, as it were- that the emperor has no clothes- t push through the layers of denial that mark our society to the real truths in the hope that they will set us free.
